In a city where most new hotels are renovated old buildings, the Chelsea Savoy is a rarity: it is new from the ground up.
..The rooms.. are clean, furniture is new, and prices are moderate by Manhattan standards..
Rooms were furnished with everything - nightstands, television armoire, an enormous desk that held a mini-fridge, and window framed by floor-lenght green drapes.
